About

Design-led, strategy-minded.

I’m Ashley, a creative marketer who loves branding, storytelling, and turning bold ideas into compelling visual concepts.

I thrive in the space where solid strategy meets untamed creativity: building brand identities, developing visual assets, and creating campaigns that help brands show up in a way that feels bold, cohesive, and memorable.

Even outside of work, my branding brain is always on. I notice every ad, billboard, and package, and I can’t help asking why it works and how I’d make it better.

Here’s what that looks like in practice.

SET Rebrand

Identity, website, social launch

I was creative director for the rebrand of Sports & Entertainment Travel. This year, SET’s organization and tour offerings evolved, and we needed that evolution to be reflected in how we showed up visually. This rebrand is how we did it.

My roleBrand and creative director. Logo iterations, final color palette decisions, all of the social strategy, and web wireframe ideation and approval.

The challenge

SET was evolving, and our brand needed to evolve with it. We needed a more elevated, polished identity that reflected the premium experiences, thoughtful hospitality, and seamless execution at the heart of every SET trip.

The approach

Position SET as a premium experience provider, shifting the perception from transactional trip booking to thoughtful, end-to-end hospitality.

What I made

Logo iterations and the final color palette decisions, the full social strategy and launch campaign, and the wireframe ideation and approval for the new website.

What social had to do

  • Build brand awareness: who SET is and what we do.
  • Create platform engagement that reaches new audiences and builds stronger relationships.
  • Drive audiences to the website to extend brand understanding and generate sales.

How we did it

  • Three reasons to post: internal SET news, program promotion, and industry thought leadership.
  • Every post has to be different: buzzworthy, informational, or hot off the press, with a sense of urgency.
  • Track engagement, shares, and conversion.

2028 Sales Materials

Catalogs, copywriting, art direction

The two biggest sales pieces I worked on this year: the 2028 Signature Collection, which presents SET’s full lineup of premium tours, and Golf by Private Air, a dedicated catalog for a five-country private-jet golf journey. My role on each is noted below.

2 catalogs · 46 pages · Print + digital flipbook

The challenge

SET sells premium, once-in-a-lifetime trips through alumni associations and athletics partners. The sales team needed collateral that makes a trip feel worth it at first glance and that partners can hand straight to their members.

The approach

One system, two jobs. The Signature Collection is a portfolio of nine journeys in one repeatable spread format, so readers can compare trips at a glance. Golf by Private Air goes deep on a single flagship trip, leading with story and letting the itinerary follow.

What I made

Signature Collection: everything, solo. Copy, image sourcing, and layouts, built on a repeatable spread of hero image, highlights, itinerary, and inclusions. Golf by Private Air: the first-draft design, the copy and creative direction, then fine-tuned with the wider team into the finished book.

22 pages · Nine journeys, from the Premier League and the Kentucky Derby to Sardinia’s Blue Zone

My roleSole creator. I wrote the copy, sourced the images, and designed the layouts, start to finish.

Fan Trip Playing Cards

Souvenir concept, collage design, print

SET plans premium group trips for college sports fans. Our events team wanted a new, memorable souvenir for those trips, and I came up with playing cards, then designed them.

My roleConcept and design. I came up with the idea and developed the card designs.

Sports & Entertainment Travel · Fan travel trips · Print

The problem

Our events team was struggling to come up with a new, innovative souvenir for our fan travel trips.

The idea

I proposed playing cards: easy to pack, fun to share on the trip, and a natural canvas for each school’s story.

The result

I developed the designs, a collage for each school built from its traditions, mascots, and places. They were a hit.

Football Season Giveaways

Campaign concepts, Instagram, boosted posts

Two Instagram giveaways timed to the college football season, built to get more fans to visit and follow SET’s profile. Both were boosted as paid posts, and I came up with each one from start to finish.

Two giveaways, two strengths

The Kickoff giveaway earned its follows at a lower cost. Bowl Season sent more people to the link: 668 clicks against 437.

Official

Push notifications, social content, short-form video

Official is a relationship app built for couples, with features like a Daily Question, Love Buttons, shared moods, and date planning. It was acquired by Bumble in 2023. During my remote internship in 2022-2023, I helped keep couples coming back to the app and talking about it.

My roleI wrote and scheduled the app’s daily push notifications, designed social graphics, helped ideate the reels, and posted consistently across Instagram and TikTok.

Daily push notifications

Every notification pointed to one feature, so a quick, friendly nudge became a habit: answer the Daily Question, send a Love Button, set your mood, plan a date. Together they drew about 70,900 taps in the week, and the Daily Question was the standout.

SHARE Social Concepts

Logo design, brochure, client social

SHARE Social Concepts is an Atlanta social media and branding agency serving real estate, lifestyle, and luxury clients. During my internship there in 2023, I designed logos and identities, including the SHARE logo itself, which the company still uses today, the company brochure, and monthly social calendars for its real estate clients.

My roleLogo and identity design (the SHARE Social Concepts logo, client logo suites, and iteration rounds), the company brochure booklet, and monthly social strategy and design for real estate clients.

The Aurantiaco

Identity, editorial layout, social

The Aurantiaco is Clemson’s undergraduate humanities and social sciences journal. I created its logo and brand identity, designed the layout of the inaugural edition and the two that followed, and made the social graphics that call for submissions.

My roleLogo, identity, and social graphics. Layout design for all three editions.

2022-2024 · Three editions · Print + digital

2023Second edition. Cover art by Rachel Hall.
The Aurantiaco 2024 cover with an illustrated orange
2024Third edition. Cover art by Jeb Brown.

The challenge

The journal was new and wanted to become a Clemson tradition. It needed an identity that felt established, and a layout that could hold essays from economics to history to philosophy in one consistent book.

The approach

A high-contrast serif wordmark with a script "the" and a hand-drawn orange give it a literary, editorial voice. Inside, each edition finds its own color and framing for the disciplines, while the type stays quiet and readable.

What I made

The wordmark and orange mark, the layout of three editions, and social graphics for each call for submissions.

CHORD Magazine

Identity, editorial, advertising

Chord is a music magazine that covers old and new artists side by side, and it’s the underdog next to Rolling Stone and Billboard. I wrote the creative brief for a subscription campaign, then designed the identity, the cover and feature layouts, an outdoor ad, and an in-store display.

CHORD magazine cover mockup featuring Nirvana
Cover, issue one

The challenge

Print subscriptions are declining, and the big names have the audience. Chord needed to show what makes it different: all music, past and present, in one place, for anyone who loves it.

The approach

The tone is casual, cool, and a little messy, like music itself. Loud orange, black, and white, along with oversized type and a guitar mark, carry the rock-and-roll feel. The slogan "Good music finds you" speaks to anyone who enjoys music, whatever the genre or era.

What I made

A magazine cover and feature layouts, an outdoor ad that resizes for city centers and concert venues, and a branded point-of-sale stand for stores like Barnes & Noble.
